Prior to joining InPhySec, Marc spent 13 years with the New Zealand Police forensic service and 10 years within the GCSB establishing and managing the cyber forensic investigation and incident response capability.

Prior to joining InPhySec, Angela spent 18 years at Wynyard Group & Methodware Ltd working with government agencies and commercial entities to implement investigations, risk management and big data analytics technology.

Louise has over 20 years experience in marketing and advertising. She has worked with some of New Zealand’s largest organisations including Spark, Vodafone, SkyCity and NZ Lotteries, leading marketing strategies and campaign development. Louise also co-founded and ran a strategic advertising agency in Auckland. She has a passion for data, customer insight and behavioural change and puts the customer at the heart of everything she does.

Darren has over 25 years experience starting with the RAF and for the last 12 years in the NZ government and private sectors. He has completed substantial security improvements for Westpac, ANZ, Health Alliance, Corrections and MoJ. He has also managed the security capability for Spark and Fujitu

.Highly experienced in Risk Management, C&A, compliance and assurance across many control frameworks including NZISM/PSR, ISO27001, NIST and PCI-DSS with current certifications in CISSP and SABSA..  He believes in making security an enabler, not a road block.

Mike is a seasoned veteran with both significant government and commercial sector information security/assurance experience.

With a beginning in the RAF he then moved to GCHQ, which is where he cut his infosec teeth. At the turn of the century Mike moved to CESG and became a Common Criteria and ITSEC certifier, before migrating to NZ and joining the GCSB where he held several roles in technology, policy and information assurance. This was then followed by 3 years at NZ Police and 5 years at Revera as ITSM before joining InPhySec.

Nicole has worked in the Telecommunication and Power industry for the last 23 years. Nicole has worked in various roles, throughout her career, everything from credit controller to risk and data analysis.  Nicole has recently worked at Vector as a Workflow Management Lead, where she was responsible for the end to end processes of the Australia Deployment Business units, where upon she was responsible for risk management, process and policy improvement and data analysis. Nicole takes pleasure in delivering top class customer service, enjoys working within set policies and guidelines and gets fulfilment in making sure the job gets done well.

Oliver has over 18 years experience in I.T infrastructure administration and incident response. Before joining InPhySec Oliver spent 10 years at GCSB in various roles, including a position at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Oliver's interests lie in network intrusion investigations and threat hunting. Oliver holds numerous qualifications including CrowdStrike Falcon Threat Hunter and Incident Responder qualifications.

Technical Director, Digital Forensics and Incident Response

Ian has over 10 years digital forensic experience and is a certified digital forensic examiner with a BSc in Forensic Computing, EnCE, CFCE, CMDE and CAWFE. He worked at New Zealand Police and extensively analysed digital devices. Prior to this, he worked at PwC and undertook eDiscovery cases for his clients. Ian provides training to students attending the Advanced Windows Forensic Examiner class for IACIS and is the chairman for this class.

Tom is responsible for the daily operation and success of InPhySec’s Offensive Security and Technical Testing division. Tom spent a couple of years on the inside of financial institutions observing the architecture and operation of a high security environment before joining the team. As well as holding certifications in Offensive Security, Red Teaming and ISO27001, this enables InPhySec to deliver high quality, experienced Technical Testing across all areas of security.

Adam leads our Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) offering and supports our Endpoint Protection service. Adam understands the challenges most organisations face when adopting new solutions and enjoys assisting clients on their security journeys. Adam is a Netskope Certified Cloud Associate and holds an APMG – management of risk certification, he also holds a Bachelor of Computing Systems in Networking and Forensics.

Prior to InPhySec, he worked for Deloitte as a Security Consultant where he was involved in several projects across government and private sector clients.

Connor joined InPhySec in 2019 with a degree in Information Technology, majoring in Cyber Security. The key focus areas of the degree were Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Risk Management, and Network Configurations, all of which are highly applicable to his role at InPhySec. Connor has developed practical skills and knowledge in the managed services context. He has a real interest in Digital Forensics and Incident Response.  Connor holds numerous qualifications including CrowdStrike Falcon Administrator, Incident Responder, and Threat Hunter. Netskope, Elastic and Vectra Fundamentals qualifications.

Marcus has recently joined the InPhySec team, having previously worked within Enterprise & Government IT Operations. Experience from this area includes the management of high priority incidents, mainly within a network infrastructure and managed services context. Marcus also studied at the Wellington Institute of Technology, where he successfully completed his Bachelor of Information Technology. This was majoring in Information Assurance & Security, with key areas of focus being Networking, Digital Forensics and Incident Response.

Jake is a new addition to our Security Operations Team in early 2020 as a third year undergraduate student from Victoria University of Wellington, majoring in Cyber Security. Under a few months of training, Jake has rapidly developed practical skills in Threat Hunting and Incident Response.

Jake has a great interest in Penetration Testing and Reverse Engineering.

Joining Inphysec in early 2020, Ethan joined as he was studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Cyber Security from Victoria University of Wellington. Before joining InPhySec, he worked in physical security gaining a unique inside look at how large-scale security is deployed. He hopes to translate the successful techniques of physical security into the cyber domain. Under the mentorship of InPhysec’s Senior team, Ethan has quickly gained practical skills and knowledge of managed services.

Ethan's notable qualifications include Netskope and Vectra Fundamentals. Ethan also holds a current certificate of approval and qualifications at levels 2 and 3 of security, well currently working his level 4 qualifications.

Dan has recently joined the InPhySec team, he is currently studying a degree in Computer science with a specialization in cyber security one of the key focuses of this degree is understanding the role of security in society and the ethics of issues relating to cybersecurity such as the balance between privacy and safety.

Dan holds qualifications in CrowdStike Falcon Administrator and has completed training programs in Elastic and NetSkope.

With interests in Systems Engineering, Cyber Security and Linux, Zac is a new addition to the Security Analysts team.

Zac is in his third of four years at Victoria University of Wellington studying towards a BE(Hons) majoring in Software Engineering and specializing in Networked Applications.

Zac holds the Crowd Strike CCFA (Falcon Administrator) qualification and is currently working towards gaining his CCFR (Falcon Responder).

After a few years of work and travel Patrick began studying towards a Bachelors of Engineering with Honors majoring in Software Engineering. With a primary interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Patrick is currently completing a thesis is behavioral recognition in his final year at Victoria University.

Experience in Physical Security has generated an interest within Patrick to combine this experience with software development.

Patrick is currently working towards gaining his CCFR (Falcon Responder) and holds the Crowd Strike CCFA (Falcon Administrator) qualification.

Jason joined the InPhySec team at the beginning of 2020. He joined the team while pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Victoria University and has a high interest in Digital Forensics. He hopes to expand his knowledge in Cybersecurity under the guidance of his seniors and has quickly gained experience using platforms such as CrowdStrike and Netskope.

He has obtained qualifications for Falcon Administrator and Responder, as well as certificates in Netskope and Vectra Fundamentals.
